Each home is half of a 1916 duplex, about 750 square feet, with two bedrooms, one bath, and a private fenced yard behind a ten-foot hedge. De Longpre sleeps six, with two queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa; Cherokee sleeps four, with two queen bedrooms. Both come with:
Cleaning is included in the direct rate. Check-in is by keypad, with codes sent the day before, and we live nearby and are around during your stay if something needs fixing.
We rent directly to you. We have no relationship with any insurer or housing company and do not bill insurers, so there is nobody's approval to wait on before we hold dates. What we provide is the paperwork a claim needs: a signed furnished-stay agreement stating the dates and the monthly rate, dated invoices, and a receipt for every payment. Your adjuster is welcome to email us; if you need a particular form filled in, send it.
The minimum stay is 31 nights; after that, stays run month to month by written agreement, and many guests stay two to four months. Booked direct, either home is $4,530 a month, utilities and cleaning included, or $4,400 by bank transfer or cash. The stay is a furnished short-term license, not a lease, which is the form temporary housing usually takes; the booking terms fit on one screen.

The Hollywood/Highland and Hollywood/Vine Metro stations are a ten- to fifteen-minute walk. Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles and Children's Hospital Los Angeles are two to three miles east along Sunset, Cedars-Sinai about four miles west, and the AFI Conservatory about ten minutes by car.
Both homes are also on Airbnb: De Longpre and Cherokee. We have been a Superhost every year since 2015. Pets are considered case by case.

Payment is by card or bank transfer through a payment link, or cash by arrangement; bank transfer and cash pay $4,400 a month instead of the $4,530 card rate. A refundable security deposit, $2,000 when paying monthly or $500 when the stay is paid in full up front, is stated in your agreement, is held through checkout, and is returned within 21 days with an itemized statement for anything deducted.

Yes. Both homes have a high chair and a Pack 'n Play, Cherokee also has children's books, toys and dinnerware, and the park across the street has a playground. Pets are considered case by case, and dogs are regularly welcome; both yards are fully fenced.
No. It is a furnished short-term license for a stated period, which is what most temporary housing needs. The address cannot be used for mail, ID or residency.
