The house is at De Longpre Avenue and Cherokee Avenue, two blocks south of Sunset. These are road distances from the front door, with drive times for ordinary traffic; Hollywood traffic is not always ordinary, so allow more at rush hour.

Call times and wrap times do not keep office hours, and neither do writers' rooms or post. The two homes are separate houses in a 1916 duplex, each with its own entrance, its own fenced yard and its own keypad. Codes arrive the day before check-in, so there is no key handover and nobody waiting up. The street is residential, behind a ten-foot hedge, across from a park; what you hear at 4 AM is mostly birds.
Each home has central air and heat, fast Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, an Apple TV, a full kitchen and an in-unit washer and dryer, which earns its keep on a shoot. De Longpre sleeps six, with two queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa; Cherokee sleeps four, with two queen bedrooms. Both are about 750 square feet.
A street parking permit comes with each home, and a spot in the shared gated driveway is $150 a month. Sunset Boulevard, two blocks north, has buses east to the studios, and the B Line connects Hollywood to Universal, North Hollywood and downtown.
Crew on a long shoot, writers in a room, editors and post staff, actors in town for a run, and executives relocating or visiting. Many of our guests work in film and television and come back for the next job; returning guests get first call on dates, and booking direct lets you hold dates further out than Airbnb's calendar allows.
We host stays of 31 nights or more. Booked direct, either home is $4,530 a month, utilities and cleaning included, or $4,400 by bank transfer or cash, about 13% less than the same home on Airbnb. Both homes are also on Airbnb: De Longpre and Cherokee. We have been a Superhost every year since 2015, and the homes are consistently among the top-rated on Airbnb.
About a mile and a half by car, down Cahuenga or Vine to Melrose, usually under ten minutes. The Metro B Line does not go to Paramount; a bus down Vine or a bike will.
Sunset Gower is about a mile east along Sunset, a five-minute drive or a twenty-minute walk. Sunset Bronson is about a quarter mile past it.
Netflix's Hollywood buildings are on Sunset Boulevard between Vine and Bronson. The Vine Street buildings are about three quarters of a mile from the house; the ones at Sunset and Bronson are about a mile and a quarter.
Hollywood/Highland is about a ten-minute walk and Hollywood/Vine about fifteen, both on the B Line. Universal City is one stop north, and North Hollywood two; downtown is about twenty minutes the other way.
No. Each home is a separate house with its own entrance and keypad, so nobody is waiting up for you. Quiet hours are after 10 PM on weeknights and midnight on weekends, which is about arriving quietly, not about when you arrive.
